Affiliate disclosure

Affiliate links pay for this site, and that is worth knowing before you press a buy button.

How it works

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Every buy button on this site goes out with an affiliate tag on it. Follow one and buy the piece, and the programme may pay us a commission for it.

What the commission does not buy

• A different price for you. The commission comes out of the margin at the far end and is never added to your total.
• A kinder description. A drawer count is the drawer count whether a piece moves well or stands still all season.
• A better position on the page. Departments follow the range, pieces inside them follow size, and neither follows what pays most.
• A shortened range. Every piece is listed, including the ones we would not choose for our own hallway.

No paid praise

Nobody is paid to praise a piece, and no testimonial appears beside one, paid or otherwise.

Prices

Prices are updated on a schedule and stamped with the date of that update. The figure in front of you at the checkout when you order is the one that counts.
